Buy the rice cooker here. A 230V Indian rice cooker heats at about a quarter of its power on US outlets. US models from Zojirushi and Aroma are made for 120V.
Ceramic, not plastic, for pickles. Oil and acid sit in a pickle jar for months. Glazed ceramic doesn’t react or stain.
